Personal Assessment

Proper nutrition can benefit us all. The problem is that the media has so much confusing information out there that many people just don't know where to start.
A registered dietitian is trained to assess a person's medical needs, knowledge and life style and make recommendations to improve nutritional status.

Laura Olsen, MS, CDN, RD

Your neighbor, Laura Olsen, has been in private practice for over 8 years now in Brooklyn, NY. Before that she worked in Long Island College Hospital specializing in Diabetes management which includes weight management, cardiovascular disease and prevention. Nothing is more rewarding than providing the knowledge to people to improve their health. This enables each person to make educated choices. We can only do the best we can and if we do not know what is the best thing to do how are we expected to be able to make the wisest choices.
